Manuels River is working on the Second Annual ‘Chefs for Trails’ fundraising event which is scheduled for Sunday September 29th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. This will be an outdoor food experience. Local chefs will cook at various points along the river trails while guests stroll from station to station enjoying tasty small plates as they take in the beautiful landscape. This event is expected to draw up to 200 people with 5 -6 tasting stations all positioned around a loop section of our beautiful trails on the banks of Manuels River. The proceeds from this event will go towards continuing the upgrading and development of the Manuels River Trails System. The trails at Manuels River are not only very important to the community of Conception Bay South but they have become a huge tourist attraction with increased numbers of visitors each year.
