Event Recap: Relaunch & Mayor's Luncheon May 10th 2019 - Conception Bay Area Chamber of Commerce

This past Friday May 10th, we showcased our new brand, website and 2019 focus at our Relaunch and Mayor’s Luncheon hosted at Manuels River.

A big thank you to The Town of Conception Bay South for being our Platinum sponsor and also to Blackwood Printing for coming in as our Gold sponsor by taking care of all of our relaunch marketing printing and banners.

Thank you to Manuels River for allowing us to use your wonderful facility and to Coffee Matters for catering the event.

CBA Chamber board president, Margo Soucy welcomed guests and provided details about how our members and future members can utilize our new website to promote their business activities. We introduced them to their new fully customizable profile where they can add photos, events and public coupons which launched just the night before!

We also revealed our Conception Bay Area Chamber of Commerce benefits pamphlet. This is an overview of what the CBAChamber has to offer new and existing members. This document holds our core message and will be distributed to potential new members during our Canada Summer Jobs Project [we’re still accepting resumes, please refer to the job posting by clicking here].

Mayor Terry French shared the council’s plans for growth and development in 2019.

“We have a plan to help guide growth and development in our Town. The plan is composed of three elements: having competitive taxes, developing key infrastructure, such as roads and sidewalks, and renewing our focus on economic development,” said Mayor French.
