Provincial Election 2021: Meet the Candidates [Replay]

A provincial election during a pandemic and winter is challenging for candidates and voters alike. So, the Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast, the Conception Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and Manuels River have come together to provide a safe way for voters to hear the candidates in the electoral districts of Conception Bay East – Bell Island, Topsail – Paradise, Conception Bay South & Harbour Main speak on the key issues in the election for our province and for their districts.

We are three, very active, community-based, not for profit organizations in the Conception Bay Area and we are very proud of what we accomplished together this week and we would like to thank the candidates for their participation.

We hope that events of this nature can become a useful tool between community-based organizations and all levels of government as we move forward on the path to recovery and growth. There is much that must be done so that our province and its people can achieve its potential. We believe that the success of these virtual forums demonstrates that we can do more when we work together.
