As the collective voice for businesses in the Conception Bay Area, it’s important we raise awareness regarding the effects of the latest winter storm on our community partners, our natural attractions and our small business owners. As the state of emergency has been lifted in the Town of CBS and much of the Conception Bay Area, we can move ahead in assessing its economic impact on our region.

The many stories of people coming to others aid have been most inspiring and we should continue these efforts in supporting businesses as they rebuild. With January being one of the toughest months for many businesses, supporting local has never been as critical as it is today.

We applaud the Towns of Conception Bay South, Holyrood, and Paradise for getting us back to business as safely and quickly as possible. Let’s keep demonstrating the community spirit we’re known for and show businesses, big and small, some much-needed love.
